Bharat Mandapam

Bharat Mandapam is an International Exhibition-Convention Centre (IECC) located at the ITPO complex in Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, Bharat. It is the biggest exhibition centre in Delhi, spanning across an area of nearly 123 acres (over 625,000m2) of exhibition space.

The name "Bharat Mandapam" means "Hall of Bharat" in Sanskrit. The center was designed by architect Raj Rewal and was inaugurated on 3 November 1972 by then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, on the eve of the International Trade Fair called Asia 72. The venue and the event were meant to celebrate 25 years of India's Independence.

Bharat Mandapam is a modern and state-of-the-art facility that can accommodate a wide range of events, including trade fairs, conferences, and exhibitions. The center has a large main hall that can accommodate up to 7,000 people, as well as several smaller halls and meeting rooms. It also has an international-standard exhibition area that can accommodate up to 6,000 exhibitors.

Bharat Mandapam is equipped with the latest technology and facilities, including a modern audio-visual system, a dedicated IT infrastructure, and a green roof. The center is also LEED Gold certified, which means that it has been designed and constructed to meet high standards of environmental sustainability.

Bharat Mandapam is a major landmark in New Delhi and is a popular venue for events and conferences. It is also a symbol of Bharat's growing economic and political power.

In 2023, Bharat Mandapam hosted the 2023 G20 summit, which is an annual meeting of the leaders of the world's 20 largest economies. The summit was a major event and showcased Bharat's capabilities as a global leader.
